Free Government funded hours
The Universal 15 hours for children from the term after they are 3 or eligible 2 year olds
We offer 15 hours free funding through the government scheme from the term after children have turned 3 or for eligible 2-year olds.
If your child is eligible for the 15 hours EYE funding, and you would like to claim them with The Lime Tree, your child will need to attend a minimum of 4 sessions of 5 hours (20 hours) per week with us. As we are a year-round nursery (51 weeks), we will offer the stretched offer, so your entitlement of the EYE hours will be stretched across the year. Any hours above the EYE funding will need to be paid for by the parents / guardians. The stretched offer will equate to approximately 11 hours per week throughout the year. The cost of meals are not included in this offer.
The full 30 hours free government funding – available from September 2018
In some cases, you may be entitled to claim 30 hours per week free government funding, from the term after your child turns 3 years of age. If this is the case and you would like to claim these through us, your child will need to be booked in for a minimum of 30 hours per week (6 x 5 hour sessions). Again, your free funding will be stretched over the 51 weeks and any hours above the free government funding will need to be paid for by the parents / guardians. The stretched offer will equate to approximately 22 hours per week throughout the year. The cost of meals are not included in this offer.
We offer 8 places for children entitled to the 30 hours free government funding.
We find that parents tend to prefer the stretched offer, as this provides them with more stable bills, rather than the higher bills during the school breaks.
